A Toronto-based abstract artist, Donna Wise has captivated audiences across Canada and the United States with her bold, large-scale works that energize spaces from galleries to corporate environments. Her art has been prominently featured in institutions such as the Four Seasons Hotel, the Ontario Parliament Building, and the lobby of the Elgin Theatre in Toronto. Private and corporate collections in cities like Toronto, Montreal, San Francisco, Miami, and Tel Aviv hold her work, with notable clients including Baycrest Hospital and Equitable Trust.
Donna’s passion for art extends beyond her canvas. As a docent at both the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Royal Ontario Museum, she has deepened her engagement with the arts community. She has also contributed to prestigious auctions for organizations like the Canadian Opera Company, the National Ballet, and the Royal Ontario Museum.
In 1985, Donna received an individual creative grant from the Ontario Arts Council, marking a key achievement in her career. She is a life member of The Society of Canadian Artists and actively involved with CARFAC, WAAC, CSARN, and the Canadian Federation of Artists. Her dedication to the arts and her vibrant creations continue to inspire and offer a dynamic visual journey for viewers worldwide.
